It is the 22nd century and Earth is at war! With galactic neighbors, intergalactic invaders, and itself. Set many cycles after a Gamma Ray Pulse sent Earth into a new "Dark Age" and announced to an unprepared galaxy that the ancient, intergalactic invaders known as the Armagons, with their Hykroachian and Nanite allies, had returned to complete the conquest started long ago.

"Born for war. Live for duty. Die for freedom." The oldest Human civilization, oddly enough, isn't from Earth. Remnants of the 1st Galactic Invasion, the Human Alliance was born in secrecy, having rebelled against their Hykroachian masters at the end of the invasion and took control of their hidden systems. New to the Anunnaki Council, the Human Alliance is prepared to exact their vengeance on the returning "Masters of Old".

The closest thing Earth has to a galactic representative, The Solar Parliament is struggling with multiple conflicts on Earth, conspiracy in the Lunar and Martian colonies, piracy in the gaseous stations of Jupiter and Saturn, and struggling relations with the Human Alliance and the Anunnaki Council. Then there's the matter of the 2nd Galactic Invasion...

The Anunnaki Council is the galaxy's best defense against the returning invaders. A loose collection of many of the largest interstellar societies in the Milky Way. The gene-splicing Brahman, insectoid Zuluwan, mighty Jinn, proud Grekko, fierce Nords, strange Xia, and the mysterious Nazcans, along with the traitorous Vulghari all played their part in the 1st Galactic Invasion, and its aftermath. After millennia of neglect, the Council must come together and try to repel the single, greatest threat the galaxy has ever known.
